Exodus International Is Really Trying To Change Gay People

Although this organization claims to love and except gay people, they are really trying to change them and make them heterosexuals. Yes, they have worked to get laws changed to punish though that abuse and beat gays. However, the truth is that one of the leaders was quoted as saying that he would never rent to a gay person. Now, you have to wonder what exactly was the thinking or logic of this person for saying this. The ex-gay ministries as they call themselves seem like nothing more than a group of people who are denying who they are and pretending to be “cured” as they say.

Can you cure someone of being gay? No, it is not possible to live a healthy life if you try to brainwash someone into hating himself or herself so much to denounce who they are. You can brainwash someone into being “not gay,” but you cannot change a gay person inside.

Focus on the Family’s Love is for intervention that requires taking your child to pre-homosexual treatment. It practices conversion therapy and has been used on children as young as 5 years old. Isn’t this a form of child abuse? I would say so, but then again they get away with practicing hate.

Conversion therapy is harmful to anyone. It causes many suicide attempts, low self-esteem, social isolation and depression. Why would someone even consider doing this to a child, they say they love. This in my opinion is the worst form of mental abuse. You cannot change someone’s sexual orientation. Doing this to children is horrible. These people call themselves protectors. If this is how they protect the young, I would rather take my chances of living as a gay person.

Someone needs to speak up and keep these so called ex-gays out of schools and away from our kids. Adults can fight back, but kids whose parents listen to this garbage are causing so much pain to their children. This is a horrible way to treat children gay or not gay.

Five-year-old kids do not know if they are gay or not. It comes about later in the child’s life. My daughter knew she liked girls when she was young, but she did not know she was gay. It took time for her to come to a realization herself. This must stop.

The AFA Boycotting And My Questions To Them

The AFA otherwise known as the American Family Association as they so gloriously call themselves are not speaking for me or many others in the world. I have questions for them that I know they will not answer here because they only spout off when they have nothing better to do. Here a few of there crusades that meant nothing in the end and my questions to them if they choose to speak up, which I doubt they will. I think they hide in confrontation.

The AFA boycotted Ford Corporation starting in 2005 because Ford supported the homosexual agenda. They donated thousands of dollars to Gay Rights Groups and even sponsored Gay Pride Parades. Ford saw nothing wrong with gay and lesbian relationships and wanted to be supportive. The AFA has since dropped the boycott because other things have come around. They think they won because Ford saw a drop in sales. Could it be that the economy had something to do with that? You really must think about that in order to openly say there was progress.

The AFA boycotted Walden Books and lost. They ended up having a lawsuit file against them for harassment. They wanted the bookstore to stop selling Playboy and Penthouse. Thumbs up for Waldens Book stores.

Then they tried to boycott Kohl’s because they never mentioned Christmas in their ads at Christmas time. Kohl’s did not suffer at all. People like to shop at Kohl’s and continued to do so. The owner is Jewish.

Now there is the boycott against Proctor & Gamble for the gay kiss on “As the World Turns” which PG sponsors. You do not hear so must about this anymore, did the AFA finally wake up and realize that no one was going to boycott a company that makes so many things that they need to survive?

The AFA went so far as to say that the reason for the Virginia High School slayings and Combine as well as the rest of the school shooting is because the bible is not allowed in schools. They might have had ground to stand on if they would have taken the right approach and found out what the kids felt. Not all kids need the bible to good. Some do turn out bad because of other underlying things.

They even went after the Girl Scouts of America because they do not discriminate against any girl that is a lesbian and wants to be a Girl Scout. They allow everyone the right to be a Girl Scout.

The AFA even went after Kraft Foods with no success because Kraft was a sponsor for the Gay Games in 2005 at Chicago.

The AFA has had its website blocked by many webmasters who believe that they practice hatred and discrimination against gays. They AFA says that they have a right to do this because of freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

My question for any brave AFA member is:

If you believe in freedom of speech and freedom of religion, then why are you discriminating against companies that have the freedom to support any organization or group of people they choose?

Why do you discriminate against anyone or anything?

Do you think you are better than the rest of us people who find nothing wrong with the gay community?

Do you think people that support gay and lesbian people are bad too?

As we all know, they are not going to come here and answer these questions because they are just spouting off a bunch of hot air. They are people with nothing better in their lives, so they dream up ways to get attention. All negative of course.

Gay And Lesbian Couples Show Sincerity And Goodness

Gay and lesbian couples show sincerity and goodness. They want a commitment in the eyes of God and the world. People complain about gay kissing, lesbian kissing and coupes of the same sex marrying. If gay and lesbian couples are allowed to marry, then they would have the equal rights that they deserve. The world would have to accept their marriage and people would have to stop fighting against what is the inevitable. Gay couples are going to marry.

They might not marry in Florida or Michigan, but they are going to marry in Canada, Massachusetts or California. Other states are going to have to look at this as a whole and not as a state. The way of the world is that these marriages must be accepted and recognized.

When you think about McDonald’s and Proctor & Gamble standing up and saying no to bullying by the AFA, you know that things are coming close to an end. Big companies do not feel a need to cave into peoples idle threats. Yes, threatening to boycott the products of these companies are idle threats. Just because a company or a person believes differently than you do, is no reason to threaten with a boycott.

If more companies would take a stand against discriminating threats, people and organizations such as the American Family Association would have to find something else to do. Maybe they could put the idle time to use on something that is important like stopping murders, child abuse, drug use and the war.

Those are the issues that need attention, not gay couples and their rights to express themselves and marry. When will these people see the big picture? Maybe never, but in time, they will see that all their wasted time was nothing more than a bunch of people with to much time on their hands trying to fight for petty things.

July 4th Is A Day Of Celebrating

July 4th is a day when everyone gets together with friends and celebrates. They have parties with cookouts and many drinks. The day usually starts with the parade and then family and friends get together and have fun. This is a time when everyone celebrates the independence of the United States. Independence Day is a proud day in the history of the United States and for the people.

Independence Day symbolizes freedom to live life without dictation. Everyone deserves to live free of dictation and judgment. The day starts with the parade, which allows everyone young and old a little excitement and fun. The rest of the day is celebrated in different ways depending on where you live.

No matter where you live, you are living in a free country. The people are free to speak, free to live life, free to express, free to support something they feel strongly about. Expression is not hatred, expression is not pushing your beliefs on someone, and expression is not condemning. Freedom to live life without dictation does not mean, live the way I live and say or do not live. Free to speak does not mean throw hateful words around, it does not mean spew hatred everywhere. It means if you have something intelligent to say, you can say it.

Ah, Independence Day is a day of celebration for freedom. July 4th is a day when everyone needs to think about what they think and how they express their views. This is a free country and it needs to be kept that way. Wars were fought to give us freedom. Wasn’t the war already won? Then why are we fighting another war? Why does the gay community have to fight a war to be treated equally?

Today is a good day to think about why not everyone is treated equally and stand up for freedom for everyone. Enjoy your July 4th everyone.

McDonald’s Is Not Giving In To Anti-Gay Group

McDonald’s is refusing to give into the bigotry plot of the anti-gay group’s demands. McDonald’s believes that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect no matter what his or her sexual orientation is. This goes for their employees and their customers. Yes, another step in the right direction for gay people everywhere. Another big company is standing up and saying, “No” to the threats of a boycott.

The American Family Association is losing another battle with a threat of boycott. When will they learn that most businesses know that they have a product that everyone wants and is not going to boycott? What is wrong with this group? Do they not have anything better to be doing with their time? Who is funding such a hatful organization?

This comes after one of the McDonald’s officers joined the Board of Directors for the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber.

Vice President of Communications to McDonald’s, Richard Ellis, we applaud you for your acceptance of the gay community and look forward to McDonald’s continued support for the same sex marriage campaigns and the community as a whole. No one has the right to say whom McDonald’s can support and not support.

They are going to make their money anyway because they will not stand up to threats of a boycott. They will keep going long after the anti-gay group falls under the table.

Gay or Heterosexual Everyone Needs A Way To Ask Questions

I have received many emails from people asking questions about many different things. I have been answering emails, but have decided that everyone needs a place to ask questions and get some answers. For me, this means making a page for questions or even stories that readers want to read. For this reason, I have started the question page.

Here you will find questions that readers or visitors have asked. I will answer their questions and if they have a story to share, I will be glad to post it as well. My goal is to make this blog the place to go for any information and to have questions answered and stories told.

The email address is posted on the page, you can just send out an email anonymously, and I will do my best to answer your questions or even posy your story. Some questions that I have been asked are something that I feel everyone can benefit from. Some of the stories are happy ones and some are sad. I fee there is a need for everyone to benefit.

The way the world is today about gay couples, we all need to hear the questions and share the stories that make us happy or make us sad. Gay couples and heterosexual couples need to have a place to go to find answers and share.

I look forward to your questions and stories. I believe some of you who have emailed me in the past might have more to share. Start sending your stories or questions now to allgalfriday@hotmail.com

Gay Pride 2008 Be Supportive Not Hypocritical

Have you ever wondered about the Gay Pride Parades during the month of June? All these people bring there kids to see the floats and enjoy the music while some are still seeing red when it comes to gay couples getting married. These people are hypocrites in the biggest way. They are watching the parade and entertaining their kids free, but when it comes time to vote for gay couples to have rights to marry, they will be the first in line to mark the no box on the ballot. Yes, these people need to wake up and see what they are doing.

They are teaching their children that being gay is wrong. They are teaching their children how to hate. They might not realize what they are doing, but in all honesty, not giving somebody the right to live in a free country and have the same rights as they do is constituting bigotry and hate towards gays. The Gay Pride Parades should have shown them that gay people are not bad nor do they deserve to be discriminated against or made to feel like second class citizens.

In Chicago, over 400,000 people viewed the Gay Pride Parade and not all of them were gay. In San Francisco, even more people viewed the Gay Pride Parade and they were not all gay. The two sides of bigotry have arisen. Hate gays, but take advantage of the free entertainment they plan to make people aware. When they try to marry or change the law books, make sure they fail. Place all your time and money into making sure that they do not succeed. Vote against them and look down your nose at them because they do not conform to your way of life.

When the November ballot comes around in California, take a stand and say no to the bigots that preach the bible, but discriminate against human beings. Stand up for people in love that just want to have the same things that you have. They want a family, love and a commitment of love for each other. Is it so hard for people to understand? Does anyone really have the right to say who can marry and who cannot?

No. Everyone should have the same rights no matter what their sexual orientation is or how they choose to live. Accept it California residents and the rest of the world. Gay couples are going to get married and you are not going to stand in their way. They are gaining momentum in the eyes of the people.

We Have Learned Something From Gay Pride Month

Gay Pride parades and other events should have taught everyone something. Gay couples, singles and committed couples just want to be accepted. They want to have the same rights as everyone else. They want to be accepted for whom they are and not what others want them to be. Many people attended the parades. If all these people would respect gay people, there would not be any discrimination and hatred towards their sexual preference.

Everyone deserves the right to freedom of speech, but not if it id used to discriminate against any one person or group of people. Freedom to live your life and marry the person you love is another freedom that gay people need. If anyone had reservations about gay people, they should have watched and attended some of the events that were held throughout the month of June all over the world.

Gay Pride month is one way for people to learn about acceptance. The theme for Chicago was “Live, Love, Be Proud” is one that can be said about everyone. If you live your life to the fullest, you should have no reason to worry about what someone else is doing with his or her life. If you love and believe in love, you should be a happy person and not wish or demand someone to live without love. If you are proud, you should be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished in your life.

When you practice the “Live, Love, Be Proud” way of life, you also will be happy and not have time to worry about how others live. Gay couples deserve respect. As many have seen with the parades during Gay Pride month, everyone can come together and enjoy the parades with all its beautiful floats and dignitaries.

If anything should have been learned by these celebrations, it is that everyone needs to be able to live and love no matter what his or her sexual orientation is. Only those who continue to fight love and life are the ones that will also lose in the end.

Chicago Gay Pride Parade Pictures

They expected over 400,000 people and I think they may have had more. The parade was spectacular even under partly cloudy skies. The theme for the parade was “Live, Love, Be Proud.” Ex-marine, Eric Alva was the grand marshal for the parade. He is a gay rights advocate from Texas. Eric came out in 2007. He was the first injured American in the Iraq war. Here are some pictures courteously of Schmidty, a friend who was fortunate enough to see the parade in

Chicago. The parade was one that many people came out to see and enjoy. Since June is the month of Gay Pride, cities everywhere had a parade for everyone to enjoy.

It has to make you think about love and support. Everyone who attended was happy and able to see what love, life and pride is all about.

In California, the Gay Pride Parade was led by Dykes on Bikes wearing a wedding dress and a wedding veil tossing bridal bouquets. The mayor Gavin Newsom received applauds from the spectators as he rode by. He worked hard to overturn the ban on gay marriages.

In New York, Patterson was appauled for his support of the gay community. He is trying to get a law passed that would make the state recognize gay marriages from other states. It just seems like everyone is trying to help, but a few.

Gay Pride Parade In Chicago

Today in Chicago there will be a Gay Pride Parade that will be enjoyed by many people. The parade starts at 12 PM at the corner of Belmont and Halsted. The parade will end in Lincoln Park where there will be other events to enjoy. There will be some very influential people included in the Gay Pride Parade in Chicago including the walker s from the Pride Youth Links, Chicago Fire Department and the Starbucks float.

The parade has a lineup of 232 organizations, companies and others. It promises to be the best parade Chicago has ever seen. The line up itself will make this a huge parade, maybe even larger than any July 4th parade anywhere. The floats promise to be beautiful and the support from people from many different states will come to participate and watch the parade.

Chicago has so many events during Gay Pride Month that supports all ages. The event are just another way people come together to show their support and enjoy meeting new people. In fact, on June 5, the television presentation of “Out and Proud in Chicago” aired. It was a very well sought out documentary of stories of the people of the city. It was an amazing program to watch. Chicago does help the community and the rest of the world understand the trails and tribulations of the gay community.

Tomorrow will be a great day with photos from the Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Stop back and enjoy seeing everyone come together for a day of friends and fun.
